WATERSIDER’S WEALTH.

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND. May 1. Unexpected wealth was revealed in the estate of a watersider which is being administered by the Public. Trustee. Deceased occupied a room in a lodging house, and the police at his death discovered £l4 in cash and a savings bank account valued at about : £I4OO. Subsequently the Trustee’s officials found deposit receipts and war loan certificates of a total value of approximately £3OOO secreted in a tin containing provisions. Deceased apparently was well educated and widely travelled. It is not thought he had any relatives in New Zealand.
