Bail was* fixed as before, conditionally on the defendants not continuing the course of conduct complained of, pending the hearing of the For some time past the speech©* made by Father O’Flanagan and hi.-, colleague hare aroused public indigna tion in Sydney. The Home Secretary (Mr C. W. Oakes), after consulting the Attorney-General, warned the envoys that their campaign must be discon tinned. The envoys, however, refused to take the hint.
