The fact that lie had negotiated a loan of £30.000 of Australian money at 5$ per cent for twenty years was reported to the Ashburton Hydro electric Power Board yesterday by the chairman (Mr F. W. Watt). It was decided after a discussion on the state ot -*te money market that the board should raise an additional £15,000 on the best terms available.
