OBITUARY.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Aasociatioti(Received May 1, 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 30. The death is announced of Mark Fisher, R.A. The late Mr Fisher was born in Boston, U.S.A. When quite a child he showed a marked talent for drawing. His first efforts were portraits an«l figures, but his love of outdoor subjects and life induced him to take up landscape and animal painting. At the age of twenty he went to Paris to study. On his return to Boston he met with scant encouragement and <o went to England, where he settled.
