The members of the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Electrical Contractors’ Association met last evening to say farewell to Mr A. R. Blackwood, who is leaving to take up his new duties at Mangahoe Many complimentary references to the services rendered to the city by Mr Blackwood during his long term of office at Lake Coleridge, were made by those present, and regret was expressed that he was leaving this district. On behalf of th© members of th© association, the president presented Mr Blackwood with a handsome silver tea service and a travelling case. Mr Blackwood suitably responded. m
