FERRY BOAT DELAYED.
GALE CAUSES SICKNESS AMONG FIREMEN. Though the ferry steamer Wahino encountered very heavv seas on her way to Lyttelton last night, shd scarcely shipped any water, and tjie voyage was not as rough as had been expected. She arrived at Lyttelton at 9.45 a.m., three hours later than her usual, time. It is said that the vessel’s slow passage was partly due to sea sickness among some of tho firemen who joined the vessel during the recent strike.
