CENTRE CHAMPIONSHIPS. RINKS AND DOTTBI/ES. The Christchurch Bowling Centre’s ** ohampion of champions ” rinks and doubles competitions were continued this afternoon, the rinks being played in the St Albans green and the doubles on the Edgeware preen. The weather conditions were ideal and the greens were In perfect order. Mr E. TV. Wade officiated as umpire at the St Albans green and Mr A. W. Jackeon at the Edgeware green. Tones, Roberts and Hill (£.). of the Wellington 1 Club, who defeated Denby, Bar coo, Fossette and Snoddin (s). of tile Victoria Club by 27 points to 10 in the final. THE FRIENDLY BOWL. The annual four-rink match for " The Friendly Bowl ” between the Wellington and Christchurch Clubs has been postponed until March 17. It will be played in Wellington this year.
