CADET RIFLE SHOOTING.

B SERIES FIRED TO-DAY. The annual meeting of the combined areas, 10A, Christchurch, and 108, North Canterbury, which was commenced at RedclifFs last Saturday, when the A series were fire, was concluded to-day. when the B series, open to serving Senior Cadets under seventeen, years of age, for 22 bore service Ties, was held at Kyig Edward JBarracks. The shooting was of a high standard, there being three possible in Match 1, fourteen in Match 2 and three in Match 3. The teams match showed a high test for good shooting, the targets being .303 shell cases, which represents an advancing enemy at about 600yds distance. The cases were placed on nails, and had to be shot off 'n forty-five seconds. The range staff were:—
