General Allepbv has issued a proclamation that persons found guilty nv court-martial of possessing bombs and explosives will be liable to the death penalty. The new Zaghlulist Committee an nounces that it will continue, within the limits of the law, campaign for honour and liberty, declaring that bloodshed eaunot serve the cause. (Received March 9, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON. March 8. The Cairo correspondent of the “Morning Post’’ says: “In view u! the agitations in Britain for withdrawals from Mesopotamia and Pales tine on financial grounds, it is felt that the British Government's hands are tied as regards Egypt. It is believed that the British taxpayers would rather evacuate Egypt than pay for garrisoning it until the country is lit to relieve England of all local and governmental responsibilities.’
