MRS BOOTH-TUCKER who, like her husband, is r holographed in the national dress of India, assisted the Commissioner to direct the work of the Salvation Army in India from 1906 to 1919. Prior to her marriage to Commissioner Booth-Tucker she was well known as Lieutenant-Colonel Minnie Reid. While her husband's Indian name is Fakeer Singh, “ one who has abandoned the world,” she carries the title Dutini, "the messenger.”
