COMMISSIONER BOOTH-TUCKER, who passed through Christchurch yesterday, is visiting New Zealand as an " international commissioner." and will conduct special services of the Salvation Army during his slay. He was born in India seventy years ago and held important positions in the Civil Service until be resigned to join the Salvation Army hi 1881, inaugurating the work in India in 1882.
