ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
DEATH from burns. (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., January 15. Glory Winifred Morris, two years of age, whose parents reside in New Plymouth, died in the hospital' as the result of severe burns. A Chinese lantern which was suspended over the child’s bed had been lighted. The candle burned low and ignited the paper, which fell and set fire to the bed clothes enveloping- the child. °
