Glory Winifred Morris, two years of age, whose parents reside in New Plymouth, died in the hospital' as the result of severe burns. A Chinese lantern which was suspended over the child’s bed had been lighted. The candle burned low and ignited the paper, which fell and set fire to the bed clothes enveloping- the child. °
