FIRE IN GARAGE.
♦ FIVE CARS DESTROYED. (Per Press Association.) PAHIATUA, January 15. At Pongaroa on Saturday night, E. Roulston’s garage containing five motor-cars was burned. Two of the cars belonged to Mr Roulston and the others to visitors, and it is reported that they wore not insured. The buil 1ing was insured and belonged to Mr E Dickens, of Dannevirke. The origin of the lire is unknown, but it is supposed to have started in the repair shop.
