Under normal conditions high tide a.* Sumner and Kew Brighton occurs approximately at the same time as high tide at Lyttelton. There may be slight variations due to the direction of the wind or the occurrence of a flood in the rivers'sor estuaries. Normally high tides should he registered on the beaches as follows: To-dav’s tide: 31.49 a.m., p.m. To-morrow’s tide: 0.16 a.m., 0.43
