FASCISTI ACTIVITY.
MUSSOLINI ANNOYED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyright United Service. ('Received December 30, 8.55 a.m.) ROME, December 29. Signor Mussolini has expressed profound annoyance for the unauthorised mobilisation of Fascisti at Bari, and has demanded an explanation frem the member for that place. An inquiry has begun and those found responsible will be severely punished Sanguinary conflicts occurred between the Fascisti and Communists during Christmas at Piana, near Venice. A number of persons were killed and wounded. The conflict was commenced by the Communists tearing down Fascist! manifestoes. The Venetian Fascisti then mobilised their forces and matched to Piana, where the Communists occupied a fortified house. When the Fascisti surrounded the premises with a girdle of fire, the Communists were obliged to m?h out. A desperate struggle ensued in which the Communists were beaten, and eventually captured. Calm has now been restored.
