The United Friendly Societies picnic to be held at Itangiora on Boxing Day. promises to be a red letter day in th:> history of Fiiendly Societies. The various committees interested in the arrangements for the day have been working enthusiastically to make the outing a thoroughly enjoyable one in every respect. The sports committee have arranged a complete programme of adult sports which has been made extremely attractive through the generosity of many friends. A most liberal array of prizes is offered in all events The children’s sports committee have also arranged a graduated programme of events fcr all children.
