At the trial of Homy "Watersou, a roaster mariner, and an accomplice named Thomas Macdonald, on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of Mrs Matilda Jackson, who was found dead, bound hand and foot, at her home ar. Sandy Bay. the Crown announced a nolle prosequi in the case of Macdonald, who was discharged. The other case was adjourned.
