NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENT. 1 Avon Elector.—Why not ask Mr ! Hnsseli direct at one of his meetings o l —Editor “ Star.” INTER JECTIONS. TO THE EDITOR. | Sir,—As one who has attended all | tlie political meetings held in New I Brighton in connection with the forthcoming elections, I have been much j struck and surprised by the what can | only bo described as senseless interI jections made fiy people who ought to ! know better. This was particularly j the case at Colonel Loach’s first meeting, and was again in evidence at Airs | Herbert’s and Mr Russell’s meetings. One particular offender showed a lamentable want of good taste. Witty I and brainy interjections are an asset • to any speaker, but the kind objected to by many of the audience did not by any means come under that category. —I am. etc., I SCRUTINEER.
