Sir Joseph Ward will arrive from Wellington to-morrow morning. Mr Charles Allard whose death in his sixty-sixth year, occurred at his residence, 533, Barbadoee Street, St Albans, to-day, was a member of the clerical staff of th? Canterbury Education Board until his retirement some years ago. He was a prominent bowler and was closely connected with the af fairs of the Edgeware Bowling Cluo for a number of years.
