RELAXATION DANCE.
Bast evening in Canterbury- College Hall the students, who recently have been having a strenuous time with examinations, held a relaxation dance. The ballroom was decorated with red and gold streamers. The chaperones were Mrs Blunt, who wore a black satin frock veiled with georgette and drapings on 6kirt ; Mrs Kidston, a smart lemon taffetas frock with tiny piping of blue satin; Mrs Chilton, black lace frock over foundation of black satin; Mrs Foweraker, pale blue satin w-ith overdress of gold lace. The committee were Miss M. Buelchurst, Miss Helen Napier, Miss F. Fail-bairn, Messrs AY. Buekhurst, G. Lockwood, J. K. Archer and G. A. Connal (secretary). Amopgst those present were: Misses N. Bruce, G. Owen, AV. AA;ilkinson, D. Hale, T. Paterson, A. Saunders, J. lies. E. Batchelor, 11. Morrison. D. Morris, T. AYiddowson O. Rowe, D. Hight, E Parsons, M. G. Seymour, K. Turner. Messrs Bell. Hardy, Palmer. Jackson, Pitman Foweraker. Slocombe, Stent, Stewart, Earle, Lowther, Barker. Stevens, Glanville M’Harg, Reid and Pickles.
