THE DAUGHERTY RULING
* AN APPLICATION REFUSED. By Telegraph— Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. WASHINGTON. October 25. The Supreme Court refused the foreign shipping companies’ application for a writ preventing the enforcement of the Daugherty ruling that liquor must not be carried within the three mile limit. A cable message published yesterday stated that the Daugherty ruling would be enforced until the Supreme Court gave its final decision, which is expected in six or eight weeks.
