On the recommendation of the Wueomn and Library Committee. the 1 card's thanks were given to Messrs Booth and Macdonald and the Dominion Compressed I'cast Company for do stations to the technical and commercial section of the public library. ] ; that representatives of the board to a conference of governing bodies of high schools >n Wellington on September should be selected from a delegation to wait on the Prime Minister and Minister of Education in respect to the new Boys' High School, anrl other questions. The report wag adopted, and the chairman. Messrs Ascliman and Civninsrham. a.nd Parliamentary members of the board, were appointed delegates to interview tho Ministers. *
