Woolley has completed hie 2000 runs, and has taken over 100 wickets. This i 9 the third time that he hae accomplished the feat. Crioket, is dying hard this season. It iB probably a- record to have two first-class games after September 20. These are being played at the air force festival at Eajsfcbourqe. 'Hie prolongation of the season, however, is hardly a sucoess bo far. Heavy sea mists deadened the wioket, giving the bowlers the upper hand th rough oitt the North v. South match, which lusted under The game commencing to-day and winding up the season is tbe Air Force v. the Resit of England. The former team includes Hobbs, Hardinge, Woolley, Fender and Waddtngtou. The chief interest is whether Hobbs will succeed in making his hundredth century.
