STATE MINE TROUBLE, (Pee Press Association ) GREYMOUTH, July 7. A deadlock over knock in g-off time continues at the State mines. Conferences of miners with the management have been ineffective. The men asked for twenty-five minutes and the management stipulated twenty minutes’ walking time. At a union meeting today it was decided by a two to one majority to stand by the union demand. The miners have now been idle for a week.
