THE MISSING MANUREWA.

SEARCH AT LORD HOWE ISLAND. (Per Press Association) DUNEDIN, June 3. Mr Massey this morning received a cablegram from the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth (Mr AY. M. Hughes) with respect to the barque Manurewa, stating, in view of advice that some wreckage was reported near Middleton and Elizabeth reefs to the north of Lord Howe Island, that the commander of H.M.A.S. Geranium had been ordered to visit those reefs and search there for wreckage and any possible survivors. Mr Massey states that four New Zealanders were members of the Manure wa’s crew.
