The “Daily Mail” says that the Rajali of Pudukota has declared his intention of remaining in Europe, and will hand the reins of government over to his brother Dorai. .The Rajah has just returned to London from Cannes, where he has a villa and is spending much time in London and on the racecourses, being keenlv interested in the Turf. Pudukota is a tributary State of India in the Madras presidency. The area is about 1178 square ra#es. and the population about half a million The Rajah, who married an Australian girl, recently went to Europe, and, despite the appeal of his subjects, he refused to return to the throne.
