CHRISTCHURCH. TO-DAY’S CASES. (Before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M.). DRUNKENNESS AND ALLEGED THEFT. Alfred William Donaldson was fined 10s for drunkenness. On a charge of stealing an overcoat valued at £6 the property of Thomas Oockburn, ; he was remanded until Wednesday. THREE CHARGES. James' Robertson was charged with drunkenness and also with having cast offensive matter on the footpath. On the first charge he was fined 10s, and on the second 40s and costs. Accused was also charged with failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Jane Robertson. On this charge he was remanded to appear at Wellington on Tuesday. REMANDED. Pierre Kugener alias Peter Wilton alias James Delaney was charged with being £45 in arrears on a maintenance order made in respect of his wife, Louisa Kiigener. He was remanded until Tuesday. JUVENILE CASE. (Before Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M.). A boy 15 years of age was charged jointly with two other youths, who have already been dealth with, tyith the theft at Kaiapoi on April 16, of a bicycle valued at £5. The Magistrate adjourned the case for six months, the boy to report once a fortnight to the probation officer during that period.
