Materialised in black satin. with (bright brocaded silk lining, collar and cuffs, the latter braided with narrow black silk braid, the wrap sketched would be very charming for theatre, dinner or dance wear. For the more practical motoring or walking coat, it would look well in coloured velours cloth, braided in contrasting shade or < in black.
