A wedding was celebrated at the Durham Street Methodist Church on W ednesday, May ]7, when Phyllis, only daughter of Air and AJrs James M Cuilough, Addington, was marriea to Leonard V illium Ray, second son of the late Mr W. Pay and Airs E. Ray, of Hill mortem r i he Rev W. Heady officiated, and Air E. Firth presided at the organ. The church was tastefully dec-orated by girl friends of the bride. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father wearing a charming gown of ivory crepe do chine and filet lac© daintily embroidered with roses and silk in lie bunched at the hips. She wore a hand embroidered veil of silk tulle which fell in graceful folds to the hem of the gown. Her bouquet of choice white liowers with touches of crimson completed her toilette. Aliss Lillian i Rav, sister of th© bridegroom, was bridesmaid, and wore a frock of lemon crepe de chine with small frills at the hips and trimmed with hand-made flowers and tiny beads. She wore a lemon and black picture hat with a spray of Frent h flowers, and carried x shower bouquet in autumn shades with tulle and satin streamers. The duties of l>est man were ably carried out by Air Harold R. Farr. The reception was held at th© Oddfellows’ Hall, where the guests were received by the mother of the bride, who wore a smart braided costume, black hat with ostrich feather mount and jet bead trimming. She carried a sweet posy of pink roses and chrysanthemums. Airs Ray. mother of the bridegroom, wore a black costume and smart hat with large aero plane bow. She carried a posy of violets and maidenhair fern. Amougm those present were Air and Mrs J. M’Cullough, Air and Mrs F- Al’Cullough, Air and Airs H. AVright, Air and Airs A. Pav Mr and Airs S. Marshall, Air and Airs F. Smith, Air and Airs AV. H. Simmons Air and Airs G. M’Kenzie, Air and Mrs J- Haig, Aiesdamcs Parlane. Martin, Walker, Haston, Weeks, Alisses AI.
