NEW BRIGHTON TROTS. POSTPONED TILL TO-MORROW. Rain set in last night and as .there seemed no prospect this morning of it clearing, tjhe stewiarxis of the New Brighton Trotting Club decided to postpone the opening day of the autumn meeting until to-morrow. Handicaps for the second day will be declared at seven o’clock to-morrow evening, and acceptances will close at nine o’clock. WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB. (Per Pres* Association.) WANGANUI. May 18. The.
