ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
FATAH FALL IN THE DARK. (Per Pebm Association.) WELLINGTON, May 18. A single man named Thomas Smith, seventy-four years of age, residing at Maita, received injuries last night which resulted fatally. At about 6.10 p.m he went into the yard of the farmhouse where he was employed, and stumbled over a farm cultivator, severely injuring his throat. He died before the hospital was reached.
