incendiary fires, MILITARY IN CONTROL, Tiy Telegraph—Props Association—ropr-rieht. Australian and N.Z Cable Association. LONDON, April 19. Hostilities were resumed at East Belfast to-night. Two women and a, man were killed and four were wounded. The trouble began as a. reprisal for the murder of a boy. The mob first burned three bouses in Altcnr Street. The police then attacked the mob with rifle fire, which became, general. Fighting occurred later in Marine Street on the dockside. Two children who were seriously wounded were .sent to hospital. Incendiary fires are reported elsewhere in Belfast. Order was eventually restored and troops are patrolling the disturbed areas. Between forty and fifty families are homeless as the result of a fire in Antigua Street, Belfast. The military are now in control of the district. The casualties in the fighting in Marrowbone yesterday amount to three killed and sixteen wounded. Firing broke out again this morning, a youth being killed. The military quelled the outbreak. EX-SERVICE MAN KILLED. John Coll in p. of Remelton, Donegal, a Catholic ex-service man, was taken out of his house by armed men and mortally shot. He was left on the roadside and crawled home where he died. Collins was accused of spying against the rebels.
