TYPHOID FEVER.
EPIDEMIC IN AUCKLAND, (Per Press Association. ) AUCKLAND, April 21 . There are fifty-eight cases of typhoid , at the hospital, including fifty from the i Alt Albert district. The death has I occurred of a patient who v. as admit bed from Momingside in a low eonj dition. Dr Valentin© and the local Health authorities visited the Mt Al- , bert district and came to the conclu- ! sion that the outbreak would be praci tica : .ly confined to that locality. It is now well in hand, and precautions are being taken to ensure a pure water supply.
