An interesting cricket match was ayed on the Geraldine oval between local men and Mr Lutterell’s Christchurch eleven The match resulted in a victory for the visitors by an innings and 127 runs -fter a pleasant game. At the conclusion of the match the old Christ College boys from tho two teams played the remainder in a one innings match and each scored 138, thus dividing honours. In the first match the highest scorers for Christchurch were Martin 101, Gurnsey 87 and Collie 82. For Geraldine G. Peter 31 and 17, G. C- Harper 45 and Bennett not <■>' 14. were the best scorer*
