INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION.
BIG WAGES INCREASE. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 6, 10.20 a.m.) S YDNEY, J anuary 6. The industrial returns show that 5827 factories employed 145,241 persons in 1921, the aggregate output being valued at £136,992,218. The number of factories increased by 165 in the year. Tho wages returns show an increase of over £4,000,000.
