FLOW GENTLY, SWEET AVON.
RESTFUL GREEN GLADES. The hot and dry weather experienced in the city lately has made people seek the cool spots. A favourite place for walks, and luncheon parties is the river banks. Green and inviting are their verdant slopes, and refreshing is the shade of the gracefully bending weeping willows. People who can escape from the hot and dusty street, and j>he sweltering office, are glad indeed, to seek for a few
minutes the pleasant restfulness of the Avon’s grassy banks.
