At a meeting of the Kaiapoi Borough Council last night a motion of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Mr F_ B. Lane, ex-May or of Rangiora. Mr W. Hart, late of the Magistrate’s Court. Christchurch, has been appointed clerk of tho Court for Kaiapoi and Rangiora.
