NEW FERRY WHARF.
1 The new ferry wharf at Lyttelton is expected to be completed by Saturday next. At present a large number of workmen are engaged in constructing the verandah and the work is be* ing pushed ahead. It is also expected that the ferry steamer Wahine will discharge her at this wharf on Saturday for the first time. -This morning, after unloading, she was transferred to the new wharf in order to enable measurements and berthing marks bein? taken.
