Dr G. 11. Robertson, of the Military Hospital, Trentha.a Milifcuiy Camp, has been appointed medical superintendent of the Wanganui Hospital. At 11.47 a.m. to-day the Fire Brigade iMceived a call to So. 5, Longfellow Street* Sydenham, where a pmali shed and fowibouse were on fire.
