Corinthic left London on Jllly 28th, via Panama. She carries mail for New Zealand. R. Makura left Vancouver on August 6th for Auckland; due about August 27th. She carries 644 bags mail for New Zealand. S. Waikawa left San Francisco for Auckland on August 16; due about September 16. She carries 923 bags mail and 724 parcel receptacles for New Zealand. OUTGOING OVERSEA MAILS. Mails which left Auckland on July 12th. per R.M.S. Makura, via Vancouver, arrived London August 16th. Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, ancl America, via San Francisco, close in Christchurch on August 29th, at 3.4 b p.m. Mails for Australian States, South Africa, and the East, per Manuka, close in Christchurch on August 27, at 5.45 p.m. PARCEL POST. Parcel Mails will close at the Chief Post Office twice daily, namely, at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The morning mails will comprise those for dispatch between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The afternoon mails will comprise those for dispatch from 3 p.m. onwards.
