PIGEON FLYING.
CANTERBURY CLUB. The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club held a. eocial evening on Thursday. Mr Cr. Anderson, who presided, presented the trophies and other prizes won during the season. The amount of the cash prizes" was £B2 10s 8d and the principal winners were:—Messrs F* Kmgsford, G. Robertson, F. Wilson c' Woodhouse and E. Fuchs. Several toasts were honoured, and songs and musical items ■were contributed by Messrs F. Cooper, Hobson, M’Gill. J. Falconer, Wallace, C. Brown, Oswald, and B. Johnson.
