MR T. B. PIENAAR, the captain of the Springboks. He is a fine all-round player and is a good leader for the team. On the social side he is extremely popular, and his little speeches at the inevitable receptions are quite above the average. He is a schoolmaster in his own country, and it may be taken for granted that he is teaching the young idea how to score tries.
