MR CHARLES HILL, who is a candidate, for the Mayoralty of Wcolston, rendered vacant by the death of Mr G. S. White. Mr Hill is receiving the support of several sporting organisations, who approve of his policy in connection with the Woolston Park. The question of amalgamation with the city will also be an issue. Mr Hill was Mr White’s predecessor in the Mayoral chair.
