THE RAILWAY CUT.

CAUTIOUSLY RECEIVED, The curtailment of train services announced this morning has been received rather cautiously in the city, and the effect of it is beinoj gone into before any announcement is mad© as to any counter movement. For instance, the Little River and Peninsula services would not he affected, as they were covered by the motor service ; and the mail to Parnassus and northwards on the days when the train did not run could be carried on the motor service.
