HOCKEY.
CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. The Management Committee of the Cnntcrkrry Hockey Association met last evening; present—M«sers Simpson (chairman), Crawgerd, C. Bellamy, C Blackwell, J. B. Le Motteo, H. Throp, H. Wnrburton. W. J. Hart.igan, J. Noble and C. Holland. Apologies were received frem Messrs G. Ford and W. ■’^Finiamscr. The Wellington Association advised that it would send a Senior and Junior representative team to Christchurch, the Juniors to play for tho Zanol Cup. The New Zealand Association wrote, stating that Canterbury was the first on the list to play Auckland for the Shield. The South Canterbury Association wrote, indicating that it was prepared to hold an laterprowncial tournament at Timaru. Mr” Bellamy was appointed selector '"nr the primary rchools representative team to play Ihinediu for the Hatch Cnp.
