Mr L. B. Jordan, Audit Department, Christchurch, who was nominated for a seat upon the Public Service Appeal Board, lias had to withdraw from the election. This step was necessitated owing to his Department considering that his official duties are such that he could not be spared to sit upon the Board if elected.
