GRAVEYARD DESECRATION.
COURT CASE TO-MORROW
The two small boys arrested for throwing down headstones in the Barbadoes Street cemetery last Monday* week will appear at the Juvenile Court io-morrow, charged with doing wilful damage to the extent of £IOO in tlie Anglican cemetery and CSO in the Roman Catholic cemetery. Wanton destruction is the only motive that the police find for tlie acts. The elder boy, aged 14. led the smaller boy, aged 8. Together, with a third little boy, aged 6, they committed the desecration of the graves on Monday afternoon, in broad daylight. The elder boy run away from Christ s College some time ago, while he was ;i boarder there, and was found at Invercargill. He has not been in the hands of the police before, but is described as hard to manage.
