PERSONAL.
Captain Ellis, Director of Forestry, will return from tho south to-day. He intends spending a couple of days in Christchurch. The Woolston Borough Council last evening passed a motion of sympathy with tne. relatives of the late Alessrs H. Beazley and A. H. Owen, two former residents of the borough. Air R. H. Livingstone was admitted to-day as a barrister of. the Supreme Court, and Mr L. C. Andrew was admitted as a solicitor.
