The City Afotor Inspector (Mr H. AUlntosli) remarked while giving evidence in a motor collision case at the Magistrate’s Court this morning, that lie made a practice when motor collisions took place in the city of talking in order to establish facts in the event of a claim for damages. The Magistrate (Air Wyrern Wilson, S.AI.) said it was very desirable that facts in regard to measurements of distances should be available in order to save the time of the Court. Air F. TV". Johnston, counsel for one of the parties, suggested that a special man should be employed by the Government for the purpose, as this would result in a considerable saving of time, especially when the two parties came forward with different plans and measurements.
