To-day, according to the Labour Department’s records, there were eightytwo men out of work in Christchurch. This total includes thirty-eight discharged soldiers, whose names are on the unemployment list of the Repatriation Board. During the past seven days, w6rk was found for seventy-eight men, thirty-seven with private employers, fifteen with the Forestry Department, and twenty-six with other Government departments.
